The Tucano is a beautifully crafted Amazon boat, ideal for exploration of the the river offering guests good food, excellent wildlife viewing opportunities and comfortable accommodation.
The Motor Yacht Tucano is not a luxury vessel but this is a good thing as it is not the best way to experience the Amazon rainforest environment. Instead, guests can enjoy a comfortable, intimate and fun experience. This large boat, over 80 feet long, means that there is plenty of space for guests to spread out, study the forest nearby, and contemplate the wonders of nature.
Inside, there is traditional panel decoration in the library, lounge and dining room. The top deck is open and has a large sun canopy which is a wonderful place to spot wildlife or soak in the vastness of the Amazon. Meals are basic but tasty, fresh and filling.
Just 9 private cabins are on board, and all boast air conditioning, large windows with insect screening, a private bathroom with a toilet, sink and pressurized hot water showers. Four of these cabins have side by side single beds, one cabin has a queen size bed beside a single bed, and the remaining four cabins have single size mattresses one above the other.
