10 days exploring the highlights of Rwanda with plenty of opportunities to go trekking in search of fabulous primates.

You will start with two nights in Kigali, enjoying an introduction to Rwanda from its sombre and turbulent past to the vibrant culture of today. Enjoy a private tour of the Genocide Museum, art gallery, coffee tasting and the bustling Kimirinko Market. Next, travel to Volcanoes National Park, a sancturary for the rare mountain gorillas.  Here you will spend two nights in a luxury lodge, heading out trekking in search of majestic gorillas and the endangered golden monkey. From here, you will go to Lake Kivu and spend two nights relaxing in between your wildlife adventures. Enjoy some time kayaking and witnessing the comings and goings of life on the lake. Your trip will finish with three nights in Nyungwe Forest National Park, one of Africa’s most ancient forests. Here you will stay in a stunning luxury lodge with plenty of opportunities to explore the beautiful park. Head out in search of chimpanzees, trekking through the jungle with your guide and also enjoy some time trekking in search of Colobus monkeys.
