Start your trip in Antigua Guatemala, one of Latin America’s most beautiful colonial cities. Enjoy a private tour of the city as well as visits to a local coffee farm and some typical Guatemalan villages. Next, head to Lake Atitlán for the next two nights. Visit the archaeological site of Iximché en route to get a first taste of Mayan history. Enjoy one night in the metropolitan capital, Guatemala City before flying over the border to Honduras and a private tour of the Copán archaeological site. Returning to Guatemala, take in the Quiriguá archaeological site before catching the boat to Livingston for a taste of Garifuna culture. Spend two nights here with a private tour of the 7 Altares waterfalls and a visit to Playa Blanca before taking the boat back to Rio Dulce and flying north to Flores.
