The weather in Latin American can be vastly different in each country. If you are travelling to the Amazon rainforest, expect warm and humid weather with occasional downpours. If you are visiting Patagonia, the weather is cool, dry and extremely windy! In complete contrast, the weather in Lima, the capital of Peru, can be mild and clammy, with lots of sea mist rolling in over the city. High in the Andes, where the air is very thin, it can be bitterly cold, particularly at night.

Our best advice would be to thoroughly research not just the country you are visiting, but each location you are going to. Each country has its own micro climates and weather conditions depending on the area. If you are still unsure, just drop us an email – we have all travelled extensively in Latin America and we can help advise on what to expect.
