LAIKIPIA PLATEAU

Enjoy one of Kenya’s top wildlife destinations combined with the spectacular landscape of the Great Rift Valley and towering Mount Kenya.

Once home to large ranches, the focus on the Laikipia plateau has now shifted to conservation which is important in generating an income for the local tribes.

Experience huge herds of elephants, cape buffalo and impala as well as several big cats. This is home to over half of Kenya’s black rhino population as well as other endangered species such as the reticulated giraffe and Grevy’s zebra.

All of the lodges here are on private land and are some of the best in Kenya. Enjoy a classic safari experience with luxury conservation in an authentic and responsible destination.
