A two-week journey through Brazil’s greatest highlights - Rio de Janeiro, the Pantanal, Iguaçu Falls and Paraty.
This immersive two-week adventure showcases Brazil at its most vibrant and diverse, from iconic cityscapes to remote wilderness.
Begin in Rio de Janeiro, where you’ll take in sweeping views from Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain while enjoying refined hospitality at the beachfront Emiliano. Continue to the Pantanal, one of the world’s richest wildlife regions, for an unforgettable stay at Refúgio Ecológico Caiman, complete with guided safaris, canoe excursions, and the chance to join the pioneering Onçafari jaguar research project. Fly onward to the thundering Iguaçu Falls, exploring both the Brazilian and Argentine sides and venturing by speedboat to the base of the mighty cascades. Conclude your journey in enchanting Paraty, where cobbled streets, emerald hills, and quiet bays invite you to slow down and savour Brazil’s coastal beauty.
Stay at the elegant Emiliano Rio de Janeiro with a complimentary massage and dedicated butler service.
Admire Rio’s breath-taking scenery with visits to Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain.
Experience the Pantanal at Refúgio Ecológico Caiman, with wildlife-rich activities such as walking trails and canoeing.
Join the renowned Jaguar Research Project (Onçafari) for a full-day conservation-focused safari in search of elusive big cats.
Discover both the Brazilian and Argentine sides of Iguaçu Falls, including the adventurous Gran Aventura speedboat ride.
Unwind at Pousada Literária de Paraty, exploring Paraty’s colonial charm along with private boat and waterfall tours.
The itinerary can be done year-round, but the Pantanal is best visited during the drier season (roughly May to October) when wildlife viewing is easier and excursions are more predictable. Outside these months, water levels are higher and experiences may vary.
We have just returned from a wonderful 23 night trip to Brazil. All the arrangements went perfectly to plan to make it an exciting and stress-free holiday. We have been really impressed with Simon’s local knowledge, expertise and the level of service given throughout the process.
