A 2-week trip combining the highlights of Jordan and Oman

Start your trip in Jordan with a night in Amman and a tour to the fabulous Roman city of Jerash where you will marvel at the scale and preservation of these ruins. Head down to the Dead Sea for some relaxation and then travel on to Petra, stopping en route to explore the mosaic city of Madaba and Mount Nebo, the alleged burial site of Moses as well as the crusader town of Kerak. Spend two nights in Petra with a full day tour of this astounding site. Next, head into the desert for 2 nights in Wadi Rum and some jeep tours exploring with your private guide. Return to Amman for a tour of this interesting city and to board a flight to Muscat. Spend two nights in Muscat and enjoy a private tour of this beautiful city. Next, enjoy a private tour of the towns of Nizwa, capital of Old Oman and Bahla, known for its pottery as well as Jabrin Castle, one of the most spectacular in Oman. Spend two nights in Jebel Akhdar and enjoy free time in this magnificent landscape with views of the Al Hajar Mountains. From here, head on to Wahiba Sands and enjoy two nights in a luxury tented camp. Experience the desert at sunset, visit a Bedouin camp and take a dip in the refreshing pools of the wadi. Return to Muscat for your last night, stopping at Sur en route to visit the dhow yards and the beautiful Wadi Tiwi.
