Start your trip in Kigali where you will spend the first night in a luxury hotel. You will have the chance to visit the Genocide Memorial and Museum for a sombre introduction to Rwanda’s turbulent past and Inema Arts Centre, one of East Africa’s major art galleries, housing a collection of artists from around the African Continent. From Kigali you will head to your luxury lodge nestled in the foothills of Volcanoes National Park. Here you will be taken on a unique adventure with expert guides through the park to view the daily life of gorillas in their natural habitat. You will also have the opportunity to go on a trek in search of the endangered golden monkey. Next, you will visit Nyungwe Forest National Park, staying in another exceptional lodge. Here, you can enjoy a morning trekking through the fertile slopes of the park in search of chimpanzees. Spotting the primates is not guaranteed but you will enjoy a fabulous morning trekking through stunning surroundings. You will also have free time to relax and enjoy your stunning lodge before returning to Kigali for one final night.
