A week-long introduction to Jordan featuring luxury hotels and fascinating sights.

Your journey will start in Aqaba, a charming port on the Red Sea. Spend your first night here relaxing and getting to know the city. The next day you will head to Wadi Rum, the stunning desert area famed for its lunar landscapes and steeped in the history of Lawrence of Arabia and the Great Arab revolt. Explore the desert in a jeep with your private guide, visiting key sights and encountering ancient inscriptions dating back to the Nabateans. Your third day will be a jeep tour taking you further into the desert. You can enjoy the sunrise or sunset if you choose and dine on a delicious lunch of typical Bedouin food. From Wadi Rum, you will travel to Petra, the fabulous hidden city carved into the mountains. Spend two nights here and enjoy two visits to the city. You will have the chance to explore the full sight and maybe enjoy some of the more extensive walking trails inside. Finish your trip back in Aqaba with three nights at a luxury beach resort. Relax on the private beach, indulge in the spa and maybe enjoy some spectacular diving and snorkelling on the reef around Aqaba.
