You will spend three nights in the cloud forest at the spectacular Mashpi Lodge, exploring with your guide and learning about this fascinating ecosystem. You return to Quito for a night before flying off to the Galapagos islands the following morning. Here you can spend five nights cruising the Galapagos on board a luxury boat. The Galapagos offers an experience like no other, getting you up close and personal with the wildlife in this amazing destination, the jewel in Ecuador’s crown. Your trip will finish with three nights at a typical Ecuadorian hacienda, relaxing in beautiful surroundings and enjoying some of the activities on offer.

When to go
This itinerary can be enjoyed year-round. Quito and the cloud forest have fairly consistent temperatures, though the cloud forest can be wetter from March to May. The Galapagos Islands are also a year-round destination, with warmer, calmer seas from December to May and cooler, drier weather with more active wildlife from June to November.

Arrive in Quito and transfer straight to your hotel for the next two nights.
