The best time to do this itinerary is from spring through autumn, with each season offering unique highlights. Spring (April) features apricot blossoms and good chances to see brown bears and snow leopards in mild snowy conditions. Summer (May to mid-September) provides full access to all activities, with warmer temperatures. Autumn (mid-September to October) offers stunning golden landscapes and clear skies, ideal for outdoor exploration. Winter is colder and more challenging but rewards wildlife enthusiasts with opportunities to spot snow leopards, lynx and wolves in snowy settings.
Spotting snow leopards in the wild and visiting traditional Shina villages truly brought the region’s magic to life. Every moment was perfectly balanced between adventure, culture and a touch of luxury comforts at the end of each day.
