PHUKET

Known as ‘Pearl of the Andaman’, Phuket is a true tropical paradise.  White sand beaches, aquamarine water and protected marine parks make this an idyllic place to spend a few days.

It is easy to be wary of Phuket’s popularity and certainly noisy Patong is best avoided. However the island is large and the beaches exceptional so it is not difficult to head more off the beaten track for a true castaway experience.

Like most of Thailand’s islands, the seafood here is excellent, the diving sublime and it is the perfect spot to enjoy some island hopping around the Andaman archipelago.

It is impossible not to relax on Phuket where the pace of life is slow and the surroundings stunning. Whether you are relaxing on a beach, kayaking the turquoise waters or enjoying a spot of snorkelling or diving, you will find it hard to tear yourself away from this island paradise.
