The NamibRand and Deep South region is home to some of Namibia’s most spectacular and least-visited landscapes, stretching from the iconic red sands of the Namib Desert to the dramatic canyons and rocky outcrops of the south.
At the heart of the region lies the NamibRand Nature Reserve, one of Africa’s largest private conservation areas and a designated International Dark Sky Reserve, renowned for its exceptional stargazing. Here, days are spent exploring rolling dunes, ancient gravel plains and hidden valleys, while evenings reveal dazzling night skies free from light pollution.
Further south, the landscape becomes increasingly wild and remote, with scenic mountain passes, desert-adapted wildlife and iconic natural wonders including Fish River Canyon, the world’s second-largest canyon. Along the way, discover fascinating geological formations and some of Namibia’s most photogenic scenery.
